Promoting AI Safety
This session highlights AI's safe, ethical, and responsible use for work and study. Presentations on acceptable use policies at the institutional and individual levels, risk management, values, and human agency are emphasized to counter fraud, disinformation, and illegitimate content while harnessing the potential of AI. The session shall culminate in a Participatory Panel Discussion to discuss the difficult questions and sensitive issues related to AI safety, such as academic dishonesty, data privacy, intellectual property, deep fakes, and jailbreaking large language models.
