KEYNOTE ADDRESSES
The conference opens with keynote addresses from policymakers, program developers, academics, and industry practitioners to provide perspectives and guidance on navigating artificial intelligence at present and in the future. This session aims to clarify AI concepts and frameworks, prospects and issues with AI acceptable use, and policy development and regulation considerations. The session shall be followed by an open forum, allowing the audience to actively engage with the keynote speakers to raise questions and express their views.
Advancing AI Capability
This session presents the whys and hows of AI capability building for relevant and acceptable use in the workplace, in education, and even in daily activities in society. Participants shall learn emerging AI trends and their implications for capability-building for academia (what they need to teach), the industry (who they want to hire), and workers (what they need to learn). The session shall culminate in a Participatory Panel Discussion that will gather perspectives on how relevant AI capability-building programs can be integrated across levels of education and how continuous upskilling, reskilling, and cross-skilling of the workers can be done in the workplace to ensure a relevant, adaptive, and future-ready workforce.
